Reading Program Volunteerism with Berjaya Starbucks

Starbucks Staff from the Mall Outlet, took off thier apron for a afternoon. It is for a good cause!!. 5 of thier staffs decided to come to HOPE worldwide Centre of HOPE to volunteer themself in our reading program. The Reading program is a program that empower underprivileged children with the opportunity to learn reading in English using interactive activities & the used of multimedia equipments.

During a short break, all the non-muslim children were also being treated with starbucks ice chocolate drinks and some delicious tiramisu & rasberry cheese mooncake. The children simply loves it.

The session ended with starbucks staff bringing the children next door for a reading time at our cosy mini library. Again the children enjoy so much that we have to remind them to go home. I want to take this opportunity to thank Starbucks for making the session awesome.
