Mock cheque & scholarship award presentation

Today 6th of May 09, Staedtler Malaysia in conjunction with their worldwide world kids coloring day presented HOPE worldwide KL a mock cheaque amounted to RM 19,253.95 to support its school sponsorship and scholarship award program. The mock cheque was presented by Mr Assim, CEO of Staedtler Malaysia

Today also 6 children namely Mohd Haikal, Patricia, Rebecca, Mohammed Rizan, Shandellelka and Magheswary received a 1year scholarship award amount to RM1200 to RM1800 each. Later we visited 2 of the families who received the award.

Staedtler World Kids Coloring Day at the Curve



In conjuction with Staedtler's world kids coloring Day, a day filled with color pencil demonstation by Uneh (king of color pencils), performances by SRK Puncak Alam and Krista, Coloring Contest, and quiz by RTM2 celebrity host, Terence Dass and Angeline Chong.


HOPEww volunteers supported the event, selling art work to raise funds for HOPEww program. A total of RM 3488.35 was raised through the sale of the art work.

HOPE worldwide Global Outreach - 'Remember the Poor'







1st May 2009 Persatuan Kebajikan HOPE worldwide Kuala Lumpur (PKHWKL), an international non-profit organization contributed a total of 1000 volunteerism hours through its network of 300 volunteers on Labour Day morning by serving and picnicking with 150 underprivileged people living in Sentul at the lawn of Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre.


Hope worldwide Kuala Lumpur volunteers, better known as “Friends of HOPE worldwide”, turned up in full force, some with their families to spend their Labour Day, a day off from work just to be with the less privileged community by organising activities for the children with clown appearance, preparing picnic and presenting gifts to the beneficiaries – all to bring hope and cheer!

Pelikan 171th year birthday celebration at Centre of HOPE

On the 25th of April, staff from Pelikan International celebrated their 171th aniversary at the centre of HOPE worldwide KL.The event was graced by its CEO, Mr Loo Heng Kiat. In his speech, Mr Loo congratulated HOPEww for the effort in conducting the creative art program (sponsored by Pelikan) for the undeprivileged.

Children from HOPEww Creative Art Program later enjoy a session of art painting on recycle bag in conjunction earth day. The program end with Pelikan Staff serving all the children with a sumptous lunch.
